Teamsters Local 150 is the largest Teamster Local in Northern California. Our members are from Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, Placer and Nevada counties. We are a General Teamsters Local representing employees in many industries, including Ready Mix, Lumber, Bakery, Milk, Parcel Delivery, Liquor, Clerical, Warehouse, Freight, Grocery, Construction, Produce, School Bus Drivers, Ambulance Drivers and many more.

The purpose of belonging to a union is to level the playing field between the employer and the employees. To accomplish this, Local 150 negotiates strong labor contracts that are enforced by highly trained Union Agents. We keep our members informed with newsletters, email updates and workplace meetings. Our Agents visit the members at their place of work on a regular basis.

The Teamsters are America’s largest, most diverse union. In 1903, the Teamsters started as a merger of the two leading team driver associations. These drivers were the backbone of America’s robust economic growth, but they needed to organize in order to wrest their fair share from greedy corporations.
