Jim Tobin
Jim became a Teamster in 1972 working in the Freight Industry. While in college, Jim continued his Teamster membership at United Parcel Service. After 10 years at UPS, Jim was elected in 1985 as a Local 150 Business Agent. Jim became the Secretary Treasurer of Local 150 in January of 2002. Jim also serves the Union as Vice President, Political Coordinator and Organizing Chairman of Teamsters Joint Council 38. Jim has been elected as a Delegate to the IBT Convention and is an elected Board Member of the Central Labor Council.

Mike Andrade
Mike joined the Teamsters in 1969 after returning from Vietnam. He served as a Trustee for Teamsters Local 857. Mike started working as a millwright for Campbell Soup in 1984 and also was elected as a Trustee for Local 228. When Local 228 merged with Local 150 he served on the advisory board and then was elected as Recording-Secretary. He has also been on the committe for the All Charities Fund. Mike was nominated and won the award for the Campbell Soup International Extraordinary Performance & Community Outreach.

Maria Carroll
Maria became a Teamster in 1980 when she began working at Campbell Soup Co. Maria served Local 228 on the Executive Board, worked as an Organizer and in 1998, became a Business Agent. In 2006 Local 228 merged into Local 150 and Maria has continued her service as a Business Agent.

Mario Contreras
Mario Contreras became a Business Agent in 1995. Prior to becoming a Business Agent he was a Shop Steward at Campbell Soup Company for four years, first shift, and Chief Steward for three years. Mario served as President of Local 228 for twelve years. Mario has been a Teamster member since 1984.

Marty Crandall
Marty has been a Teamster for 30 years, being initiated in 1978. In 1982, Marty graduated on the Dean's honor list California State University Sacramento, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with emphasis in Labor Relations. In 1988, Marty was elected to the position of Business Agent, becoming the youngest elected Business Agent in the Local's history. Marty has been responsible for representing members in Route Sales, Transport Drivers, Office Clerical units, Master Liquor negotiations, Warehouse Division and the Major Motion Picture industry continuously since 1988. Marty is a Union Trustee on a Taft-Hartly Labor-Management Health and Welfare fund that provides excellent benefits for the membership. Marty is a member of the Policy Committee for all Labor-Management seminars relating to his crafts. Marty is also a Delegate to the Sacramento Central Labor Council and has graduated from the Teamster Leadership Academy several times. In 2007, Marty was appointed, "Director of Bakery, Warehouse, Laundry and Health Services" for Local 150.

Alan Daurie
Alan became a Business Agent in 1995. Prior to his service as a Business Agent, Alan worked in the Freight Industry for Roadway Express. Alan served as Vice-President and as an Organizer for Local 150. Alan became a Teamster in 1976 while working in the Dairy Industry. Alan is a Delegate to the Central Labor Council.

Christopher Folkman
Chris Folkman joined Teamsters Local 222 in 1977 when he went to work for Consolidated Freightways in Salt Lake City Utah. While working for C.F., Chris moved to Sacramento, Ca under a Change of Operations and became a member of Local 150 in 1982. Chris was elected Chief Shop Steward at Consolidated Freightways, representing dock, hostle and PUD Teamsters. In 1989, Chris went to work for Local 150 on a temporary basis, while then Business Agent, John Torbet, was recuperating from a heart attack. Chris was elected as a Business Agent in May of 1990, in a special election, and has been reelected to office in each recurrent election to date. Chris is presently the Director of the Freight & Small Package division of Local 150. This assignment encompasses Freight, UPS and the Movie Industry, as well as all Dairy workers. Chris was appointed Joint Council #38 Freight Chairman in 2002, overseeing the Freight Industry from Bakersfield to the Oregon boarder. Chris is also a permanent member of the Joint Western Area Over the Road Committee and have previously served for several years on the JWAC Discharge Committee. Chris has been married to his wife, Jane, for 36 years and have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Chris is a proud Teamster.

Perry started his Teamster career working part-time at United Parcel Service where he served as a Shop Steward. When Perry took a full time position with UPS he continued serving as a Shop Steward. Perry served as President of Local 150 for 7 years before he was elected as a Business Agent in 1994.

Nancy Jones
Nancy Jones began her career as an organizer for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) in 2002. She successfully organized BFI Industries in the Bay Area then went onto other challenges, such as a national campaign for IBT in Phoenix, Arizona for America West Airlines, where she was also victorious. Nancy then went on to become a Business Representative for Teamsters Local 228, where she was responsible for both private and public sector. In addition to being a Business Representative, she used her skills and background to organize the Educational Administrators as well as the classified supervisory employees at Sierra Community College. After the merger of Local 228 and Local 150 in 2006, Nancy continued her career as Business Representative for the Public and Private sectors. She keeps her members informed and encourages all of them to know their union rights, ask questions, and get involved in their Local. She understands the value of the union and continues her fight to promote and organize Teamsters.

Ed Rogers
Ed started his Teamster career in 1978 as a ready mix concrete driver for Pacific Ready Mix, now known as RMC Pacific Materials. In 1980 he was appointed Shop Steward where he helped on all company contract negotiations up to the 1999 talks where the employees ratified the best ready mix contract in 25 years. In 1996, Ed was elected as a trustee on the Local 150 Executive Board where he served until being appointed as a Business Agent/Organizer in 2002. Ed is a Delegate to the Sacramento Sierra Building Trades Council, the Central Labor Council and a member ot the Regional Organizing Committee of Sacramento.

Victor Shada, Jr.
Vic Shada joined the Teamsters Union in 1969 as a mechanic for Campbell Soup Company, and a member of Local 228. He was elected Shop Steward in 1972 where he represented the maintenance department. He went on to be elected Cheif Steward for the plant in 1975 and served in that capacity until he was elected Business Agent for Local 228 in 1978. In 1992 he was elected Secretary Treasurer of Local 228. Vic served on the Rules Committee for the 1992 International Convention, and was appointed to the Joint Council of Teamsters #38 Executive Board as a Trustee in 2003 and elected to retain the position in 2004. When Teamsters Local 228 merged with Local 150 in 2006, Vic became Trustee on the Local 150 Executive Board and continues as Representative for a variety of Bargaining Units. He was appointed Director of the Public Employees and Warehouse Division, and Co-Director of the Food Processing Division for the Local, and was also appointed to the International Food and Dairy Council. He continues to serve as Trustee on the Joint Council of Teamsters Executive Board, and uses his experience to serve the members of this Local.

Terry Skjelstad
Terry joined the Teamsters in 1991 when he was hired at Bergen Brunswig, now AmersourceBergen. He became a steward and served on the contract negotiating committee durring his employment at ABC. Terry served as President of Local 150 for 6 years and in 2002, Terry became a Business Agent for the Local. Terry was elected as a Delegate to the IBT Convention and has served as the Local's Political Coordinator. Terry is a Delegate to the Central Labor Council, he is an Eagle Scout and holds a Bachelors Degree for California State University at Hayward. Terry is a graduate from the Teamsters International Leadership Academy. Terry has also served on the State of California Advisory Committee which develops Agriculture Saftey Orders for the rice and grain industry.

Rocky Thomas
Rocky became a Teamster in 1986 when he started working at Roadway Express. Rocky was a Shop Steward for 13 years while he worked at Roadway. Rocky was hired by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters as an Organizer in 2004. Rocky became an Organizer for Local 150 in March of 2006, a position the he currently holds. Rocky is one of the most successful Organizers in the United States and has organized hundreds of new members into Local 150. Rocky has served as Recording Secretary for Local 150 and has facilitated several training sessions for other Organizers in Joint Council 38.

Michael Tobin
Michael joined the Teamsters in 1978 and worked at Nabisco, Granite Construction and Lovotti Brothers Distribution where he served as Shop Steward and as a negotiating committee team member. Michael was elected as President of Local 150 in 1989 for 3 years before being elected as a Business Agent in 1991. Michael serves as Co-Chairman of the Northern California Teamsters Heavy Highway, Building and Construction Committee and is the Director of Construction for Joint Council 38. Michael is a Delegate to the Sacramento Sierra Building and Construction Trades Council. Michael is a Trustee on the Northern California Teamsters Apprentice Training Program which has benefited Local 150 and hundreds of our members who have recieved their commercial drivers licenses and training upgrades.
